Working meeting in Katowice

On 19-24 of March 2018 at the Faculty of Transport of the Silesian University of Technology held a working meeting of the participants of the SmaLog project, which is carried out as part of the Erasmus+ KA2 program. The topic of the meeting was the issues of the developing a new training program for students of Ukrainian and Georgian universities at the second level of training, financial investments under the project, as well as assurance a European level of quality for student education. The meeting was attended by representatives of Silesian University of Technology, Lviv Politechnic National University, Zhytomyr State Technological University, O.M.Beketov National University of Urban Economy in Kharkiv, Georgian Technical University (Tbilisi). In addition to the discussion during the meeting, participants could familiarize themselves with the education system for students and PhD students at the Faculty of Transport, visit the repair workshops of Linetech Aircraft Maintenance at Katowice Airport (Pyrzowice), learn about the culture and history of the region visiting the Pieskowa Skała Castle, and hear the music of Polish composers at the Polish Radio Concert Studio.
