Implementation of the FINALIST project

The CEEPUS program is one of the most intensively developing cooperation programs between universities in Central Europe. The word CEEPUS is an abbreviation for the Central European Exchange Program for University Studies. Currently, the third edition of this program is being implemented, in which more than 15 countries take part, carrying out a number of projects.

The Faculty of Transport and Aviation Engineering of the Silesian University of Technology has been involved in a number of projects over the years, which were carried out within the framework of the CEEPUS program. Currently, one of the most successful and intensively implemented projects is the FINALIST project (Fostering sustainable partnership between academia and industry in improving applicability of logistics thinking). 24 universities from different countries participate in this project. There are constant exchanges of students, doctoral students and teachers. Prof. A. Sładkowski visited the University of Szeged in April 2022. In addition to working with students, prof. Sładkowski participated in the anniversary meeting of the Faculty of Engineering of this university, which was dedicated to the 60th anniversary of this faculty.
