Visit to Sofia
28-31.07.2018 prof. Aleksander Sładkowski had the visit to Sofia. In particular, in the Faculty of Transport of the Sofia Technical University the discussions about development of scientific and pedagogical cooperation within the framework of bilateral agreements, one of which is cooperation within the ERASMUS+ program, were held.

On 30 of June the public defense of the thesis with the topic "Elaboration of multi-criteria system for evaluation and selection of transport technology in transport network" of Associate Professor Svetla Stoilova took place. Prof. A. Sładkowski was a member of the jury, which consisted of 7 leading experts - transport scientists. Speech of prof. A. Sładkowski had simultaneous translation from English into Bulgarian. As a result of open discussion, the jury unanimously decided to award S. Stoilova with the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences (habilitate).

On 31 of July the meeting of prof. Aleksander Sładkowski with Polish Ambassador to Bulgaria Krzysztof Krajewski was held. Prof. A. Sładkowski was accompanied by representatives of the University of Ruse. During the conversation, issues of international scientific and pedagogical cooperation, mobility of teachers and students, as well as issues of possible support of this activity by diplomats were discussed.
