Summer School in Maribor

In early July, 2019 professors Aleksander Sładkowski and Łukasz Konieczny took part in the summer school, which was held at the University of Maribor as part of the AutoAuto project, which is an integral part of the CEEPUS program. This school was held for students and PhD students of a number of Central European universities. Scientists from universities, research institutes and leading companies in the automotive industry acted as lecturers at this school. In addition to the above representatives of the Silesian University of Technology, the following presentations should be noted: dr. Vassil Guliashki, dr. Miran Rodič, prof. Zoran Ren, etc. (University of Maribor, Slovenia), dr. Máté Zöldy, dr. Zsolt Szalay (Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Hungary); dr. Tomáš Horváth, dr. Krisztian Buza (ELTE University, Budapest, Hungary); prof. Zoran Budimac (University of Novi Sad, Serbia); dr. Galia Marinova (Technical University, Sofia, Bulgaria); prof. Horst Bischof, dr. Arno Eichberger (Graz University of Technology, Austria) and several others. Very interesting were the lectures and trainings of representatives of a number of companies related to the automotive industry: Gamax (Budapest, Hungary); AVL List GmbH (Graz, Austria) and others.
