Scientific guidance of doctoral students and specialists
Prof. Aleksander Sładkowski during his scientific career has been training scientific personnel of the highest category. Earlier, under his leadership, 5 dissertations were defended for the degree of candidate of technical sciences. The past academic year was especially fruitful in this direction. In particular, under the joint leadership, they were protected: in KazNRTU named after K.I. Satpayev's dissertation by Asem Utegenova "Substantiation of a rational transport system of a quarry based on the energy criterion"; in KazATK dissertation by Madina Izteleuova "Development of proposals for improving the transport and logistics system of Kazakhstan" and by Zhomart Abdirassilov "Ensuring the competitiveness of container trains along the transit corridors of the Republic of Kazakhstan".
Another success was the successful defense of the dissertation by Vladislav Ruban, which took place at a meeting of the specialized council K14.052.02 at the State University "Zhytomyr Polytechnic" on May 14. V. Ruban submitted his work entitled "Increasing the efficiency of wheelset restoration by milling working surfaces on KZh20 machines" for the degree of candidate of technical sciences. This work was prepared under the scientific supervision of prof. A. Sładkowski and was defended in the specialty 05.03.01 - Machining processes, machines, and tools. Despite the difficult pandemic situation in Ukraine, out of the total composition of the specialized council of 19 people, 17 professors and doctors of sciences attended the meeting, who unanimously voted to award the candidate the required academic degree.
