The CEEPUS program is being implemented
In the second half of October 2025, prof. Aleksander Sładkowski implemented two mobilities in the framework of the FINALIST project, part of the CEEPUS program. Previous news articles have described the program's focus, how its objectives are being implemented, and the importance of the scientific and pedagogical contacts established previously and currently being developed.
The purpose of these trips was to implement CEEPUS mobility at leading Hungarian and Romanian universities. Specifically, meetings with students and faculty from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME) and the Polytechnic University of Timișoara (Romania) were planned, coordinated, and implemented. At each of these universities, in addition to working with students, additional assignments were carried out. For example, at the BME Faculty of Transportation Engineering and Vehicle Engineering, sessions were held with doctoral students, during which the main research objectives, references, and results achieved were discussed.

Discussions of doctoral research were also held at the Polytechnic University of Timișoara. The occasion was the defense of Marta Palade's dissertation, "Artificial Intelligence for Decision-Making Systems". The defense took place at a meeting of the dissertation council at the Faculty of Management in Production and Transportation. The defense, conducted in English, had a distinctly international character.
