Visit of prof. Aleksander Sładkowski to Bulgaria
On 11-17 of April 2018 prof. Aleksander Sładkowski visited Bulgaria. The Faculty of Transport of the Silesian Technical University has been cooperating with the University in Ruse for a number of years. This visit took place within the framework of the grant, which is carried out within the framework of the Horizon 2020 program. During the visit were held meetings of prof. A. Sładkowski with the leadership of this university. Prof. A. Sładkowski made presentation at the Council of the Faculty of Transport. Meetings were also held with the staff of Departments of Transport, as well as, of Departments of Engines and Transport Vehicles.

Prof. A. Sładkowski was invited by Bulgarian colleagues to participate in the anniversary (25 years) meeting of the Council of Rectors of Bulgarian Universities, which was held at Sofia University named after St. Clement of Ohrid. During this meeting, issues of international cooperation was discussed with the chairman of the Council of Rectors, prof. L. Totev (Rector of the Mining and Geological University); rector of the Sofia Technical University prof. G. Mihov; rector of the Higher Transport School "Todor Kableshkov" prof. D. Todorova, as well as with a number of higher representatives of other universities.
