ERASMUS Staff Week at the Faculty of Transport
Silesian Technical University annually holds the ERASMUS Staff Week. In addition to EU countries, representatives of countries that cooperate with the Silesian Technical University in the frame of ERASMUS+ program participate in this event. In particular, at the conference, which took place on 21-25.05.2018, was attended by teachers and staff from the countries of North and South America, Africa and Asia. Participants could get acquainted with the Silesian Technical University, conduct lectures for students at different faculties, and also get acquainted with the culture and history of the Silesian region. In the framework of this conference, the Faculty of Transport hosted lectures by dr. Todor Backalic, professor at the University of Novi Sad (Serbia) Todor and dr. Oleksandr Ochkasov, associate professor of Dnepropetrovsk National University of Railway Transport (Dnipro, Ukraine). Interest in cooperation with the faculty was also expressed by the deputies of the dean from the University of Prishtina, Dr. Shpetim Lajqi and Dr. Ilir Doci, who visited the Faculty of Transport.
