Visit to Novi Sad

18-24.04.2022 prof. A. Sładkowski visited the University of Novi Sad (Serbia, Vojvodina). This is the second largest university in Serbia with about 50 thousand students. This visit took place within the framework of the FINALIST project of the CEEPUS program. It is known that this program is designed for the academic mobility of students, PhD students, and teachers from universities in Central European countries. This visit was no exception, and within the framework of this project prof. Sładkowski conducted classes with Serbian students. An additional aspect of the visit was meetings with the leadership and leading teachers of the Faculty of Technical Sciences of the University of Novi Sad. During the meetings, issues of mutually beneficial cooperation between the Serbian side and the Silesian Technical University were discussed. The above faculty consists of 13 institutes, each of which is divided into separate departments, and also contains 37 research, technical, and service centers. This is the largest faculty of the University of Novi Sad. In total, over 17 thousand students study at the faculty, i.е. in terms of its scientific and pedagogical potential, it is comparable to the Silesian University of Technology.
