In addition to studying the experience at the Faculty of Transport and Aviation Engineering of STU, the Ukrainian guests were able to get acquainted with the Silesian Industrial Region by visiting Katowice and Gliwice. In particular, in Gliwice, the guests got acquainted with the work of the Traffic Management Centre in Gliwice.

There is currently a war going on in Ukraine, and civilians and soldiers are dying every day. Therefore, the history of the Second World War, which began in Gliwice, cannot leave Ukrainians indifferent. Therefore, a visit to the radio station in Gliwice, which served the fascists as a casus belli, was perceived as especially relevant.
