RailNewcastle

Since 2013 the Silesian Technical University participates in the educational grant RailNewcastle - Intensive Railway Program in Newcastle upon Tyne. The purpose of this grant is to bring together the leading universities in the field of education of logistics and rail transport. From 17 of June till 5 of July 2013 a second edition of "Intensive Program on Rail Transport and Logistics" in the UK at the University of Newcastle. This year 70 students from 14 countries, including 7 from the Faculty of Transport of Silesian University of Technology, participated in summer school. Prepared research of international student groups were evaluated by professors including the project coordinator from the Silesian Technical University prof. A. Sladkowski.
