The visit to the Almaty

27.11-09.12.2016 prof. A. Sładkowski visited Almaty (Kazakhstan). This visit took place within the framework of the programs of cooperation between Silesian University of Technology with a number of Alma-Ata universities. In particular, there were held lectures for university students of the Kazakh National Research Technical University (KazNRTU) named after K.I. Satpayev, joint research programs have been coordinated, joint articles have been prepared. There were very productive meetings with the leadership of universities, in particular, a meeting with the rector of the Kazakh Academy of Transport and Communications (KazATK) named after M. Tynyshpaev prof. B.M. Kuanyshev, with the vice-rector for academic work KazNRTU prof. R.M. Iskakov, with the leadership of the research and international units of KazATK and other meetings. During the visit the issues of scientific supervising by prof. A. Sładkowski for doctoral students of the above universities were coordinated.
