Scientists of the Faculty of Transport organize the conference together with Georgian colleagues

In 24-26 of October the Faculty of Transport of Silesian University of Technology co-organized the Third International Scientific and Technical Conference "Transport Bridge Europe-Asia", which carried out in Kutaisi (Georgia). On the Polish side the conference was attended by scientists from the Silesian, Lublin, Wrocław and Warsaw Universities of Technology, as well as the University of Economics in Katowice. The scientists from Poland, Georgia, Lithuania, Slovakia, Ukraine and Uzbekistan published 51 articles in conference proceedings. The visit of Polish scientists in Georgia has contributed to the deepening of cooperation between academics representing universities from different parts of the world, as well as an opportunity to exchange experiences in solving of the transport problems in Europe and Asia. During the conference participants also had an opportunity to learn the history and culture of Imereti - the historical region of Georgia, whose capital is Kutaisi.
