The cooperation continues within the framework of the CEEPUS program

The Faculty of Transport of the Silesian Technical University actively participates in the CEEPUS (Central European Exchange Program for University Studies) program, which unites the countries of Central and Southern Europe. In particular, within the framework of the FINALIST grant prof. Aleksander Sładkowski visited Serbia. He gave lectures for students of transport and logistics at the University of Novi Sad. There were meetings with the vice-dean, prof. D. Šešlija, prof. T. Bačkalić, ass. M. Maslarić. For the development of further cooperation were also very useful the meetings with colleagues from the Belgrade University, dr. S. Tadić, ass. M. Krstić, the editor-in-chief of the journal IJTTE dr. O. Čokorilo. Participation is planned in the conferences to be held in Serbia and Poland, as well as the interaction between scientific journals that are published in these countries.

In addition, it should be noted that for the next academic year the Faculty of Transport was given the opportunity to participate in two projects that will be carried out under the CEEPUS program. In particular, within the framework of the FINALIST project, the mobility of faculty teachers is planned to the universities of the cities: Novi Sad, Pardubice, Košice, Constanţa, Timisoara, and the studies of one student in Budapest. Even greater opportunities for mobility of students and teachers can be realized within the framework of the project Autonomous Vehicles Universities.
