Development of scientific and pedagogical contacts with the Balkan countries

In May and July 2021 prof. Aleksander Sładkowski, acting as the Rector’s Plenipotentiary of the Rector's Plenipotentiary for Cooperation with the Countries of Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia (Silesian University of Technology), visited a number of universities in the Balkan countries. Within the framework of the CEEPUS and ERASMUS+ KA107 programs, visits were made to the University of Montenegro (Podgorica), the University of Nis and the University of Kragujevac (Serbia). In addition to classes with students and PhD students, issues of international cooperation were discussed with the leadership of these universities, as well as technical faculties. Proposals from the Silesian University of Technology related to student mobility and the possibility of double diploma were met with great interest.
